Marshall Wanimo is a Master’s in Local Development student from the University of Padua. His academic background in Urban and Regional Planning provides a strong foundation for understanding the intersections between urban governance, inclusive city planning, and community participation.
At HRCN, Marshall contributes as a Project Assistant – Research & M&E professional, assisting in the preparation of training materials and documentation for webinars and workshops, supporting the design of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools, and conducting background research on human rights indicators and local governance frameworks across human right cities. He also plays a key role in data analysis and visualization, as well as stakeholder engagement and communication.
Marshall’s areas of interest are inclusive sustainable development, participatory governance, and the use of M&E tools to strengthen accountability and human rights in local contexts.
