DeCiDE to Celebrate Diversity – Cities Taking Action Against Discrimination
On 23 September, 16:00–17:30 CET, we’ll be hosting a webinar exploring how cities can take action against discrimination and foster more inclusive communities.
The webinar is part of the DeCiDE project broader effort to co-produce a standardized local human rights monitoring system.
It will focus on the right to non-discrimination as one of three priority areas identified by the DeCiDE cities alongside access to services and civic participation. Drawing on the OHCHR–UCLG Guidance framework for creating a Human Rights City, as well as civil society and municipality initiatives, the session will showcase concrete practices and participatory approaches that advance equality and inclusion at the local level.
