The Human Rights Cities Network invites you to an interactive online discussion on “Democracy beyond Elections: Exchange of Good Practices for Enhancing the Democratic Participation of People with Migration and Refugee Background”.
WHEN ?
- Thursday 10th of October, from 16:00 to 17:30 CEST
WHY?
- To create space for discussion between civil society representatives, activists, local authorities, and academia.
HOW ? The session will focus on:
- Identifying challenges for people with migration and refugee background to engage democratically;
- Exchanging good practices on enhancing the democratic participation of people with migrant or refugee background;
- Learning how human rights monitoring can enhance democratic participation.
